Practice News No Comments »MIAMI, PALM BEACH AND DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) in Rome, Italy has invited Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a vaginal rejuvenation expert in Miami, Florida, to speak at their 20th World Congress in October.
Scheinberg, along with Dr. Troy Hailparn, is part of an exclusive team of gynecological surgeons headed by the renowned Professor Adam Oztrzenski. Together the three men have changed the face of cosmetic-plastic gynecological surgery around the globe.
“This is an incredible honor to be able to make our presentation to the top names in gynecological and obstetric medicine from all over the world,” says Scheinberg.
Based in London, FIGO is a worldwide organization composed of obstetricians and gynecologists from more than 124 countries and territories. Presentations are by invitation only.
FORT LAUDERDALE AND DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – Last month, Dr. Mark Scheinberg, visited Hainan, China, and spoke at the 15th World Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility.
During this speaking arrangement that took place Dec. 8-12, the cosmetic-plastic gynecology group was given a plenary session to introduce cosmetic gynecology. This was a first for this field of gynecology. The group consisted of Professor Adam Ostrzenski, of St. Petersburg, FL, Dr. Troy R Hailparn, of San Antonio, TX and Dr. Mark Scheinberg, of Deerfield Beach, FL.
Dr. Scheinberg, a Fort Lauderdale vaginoplasty specialist, discusses the topics he recently spoke about at this congress.
Clitoral Hoodoplasty
Reasons to get a clitoral hoodoplasty may be from a buried, hypertrophic-gaping or asymmetrical subdermal hypertrophy. Buried means the hood opening is slightly or completely closed. Hypertrophic-gaping means the foreskin of the clitoris is too long, thick or both. Asymmetrical subdermal hypertrophy means the thickness of the hood is uneven.
There are two techniques of a clitoral hoodoplasty. Restorative surgery is performed to rebuild a destroyed opening of the clitoral hood caused by skin conditions, or female circumcision, and bring back the lost prepuce without causing in nerve damage. Ostrzenski’s Hyrodissection with Reverse V-Plasty can be performed to correct this.
Reductive surgery decreases the length and thickness of the clitoral prepucial tissue. Ostrzenski’s Modified Hydrodissection with Reverse V-Plasty or Ostrzenski’s Subepithelial methods can be used during this technique
Labia Minora Labioplasty
Another topic of discussion included the different forms of labioplasty available, and ones that are unethical to perform. There are nine methods of performing labia minora labioplasty but only four techniques are applicable to use.
Labia Majora Labioplasty
During the topic of labia majora labioplasty, Dr. Scheinberg, a designer labioplasty specialist,
explained the five labia majora labioplasty procedures that are applicable, and the two that are not. Horizontal Labia Majora Labiaplasty and Vertical Labia Majora Labiaplasty techniques are non-applicable to perform due to the scars left behind.
“I also discussed the different fillers available for the labia majora,” says Dr. Scheinberg, a vaginal reconstruction surgeon. “The natural and artificial fillers can provide you with a plump, youthful appearance.”
Perineoplasty Procedure Offered at the Center for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Gynecology
Article No Comments »DEERFIELD BEACH, PALM BEACH, FORT LAUDERDALE AND MIAMI, FLORIDA – The perineum is the spot between your vagina and rectum. This area can be stretched, cut or torn during your lifetime.
A perineoplasty, or perineorrhaphy, involves repairing the individual muscles that were torn by finding the tough connective tissue surrounding the muscle and sewing them back together individually so the muscle stays together.
They have to be done individually or pain and recurrent separation can recur. This only repairs the outside.
“The tough connective tissues have to be put back in the same direction they were torn, usually ten or more different tears are present,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg a Palm Beach vaginal rejuvenation expert. “By doing this the muscle will be repositioned and tightened without having to put sutures through the actual muscle, which causes much less pain and gives lasting results.”

DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – A hymenoplasty procedure can be performed if you would like to restore your hymeneal integrity. Some women may undergo this procedure to create a second virginity.
The procedure typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, and it can be performed at our Center for Cosmetic Laser Gynecology surgical center. Dissolvable stitches can be used to reconnect the membrane that once partially covered the opening to the vagina.
“Once the procedure is over, you can return to your normal activities in a day or two,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a South Florida labiaplasty/labioplasty expert. “The entire healing process takes six to eight weeks.”
Vaginal rejuvenation/reconstructive surgery specialist Dr. Scheinberg discusses a few reasons why women would request a hymenoplasty. Read the rest of this entry »
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – Many women may suffer from symptoms of vaginal prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.
Difficulty controlling urine and changes in bowel habits are typically the two most common symptoms.
“Vaginal prolapse is a problem in which structures such as the uterus, bladder, urethra, small bowel, or the vagina itself begin to fall out of their normal positions,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a vaginaplasty/vaginoplasty expert. “Without treatment, the structures may prolapse farther.”
Dr. Scheinberg, a vaginal rejuvenation/reconstruction specialist, explains the different types of vaginal prolapse.
Rectocele, Or Prolapse Of The Rectum
This form of prolapse involves the back wall of the vagina. When it weakens, the rectal wall pushes against the vaginal wall. This may result in a bulge and could become noticeable during bowel movements. This may occur as a result of injuries sustained during childbirth. Read the rest of this entry »
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – VASER Lipo involves three steps that can give you a smooth, sculpted appearance. It can also be used to obtain fat for transfer to enhance other areas.
Traditional liposuction can damage the surrounding tissue of the targeted area, resulting in a lumpy, uneven appearance.
“VASER Lipo is precise and gentle,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a vaginal laser surgery professional. “This procedure can give you the result you want in less time, with a quicker recovery and less discomfort.”
Dr. Scheinberg offers the advanced lipo technique to those who want to remove fat unaffected by diet and exercise alone or want to build up special areas. Read the rest of this entry »
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a Miami vaginoplasty surgeon, has performed hundreds of vaginal reconstructions/rejuvenations.
He explains what the procedure is and what it involves.
“Vaginal rejuvenation and vaginal reconstruction overlap,” explains Dr. Scheinberg, a Miami cosmetic surgery provider. “The procedure at its most basic level is repairing damage to the vaginal area that is caused by childbirth, aging or other conditions.” Read the rest of this entry »
Deerfield Beach, FL – Cosmetic gynecologist Dr. Mark Scheinberg warns women to do their research when selecting a labiaplasty provider.
In the summer, some women start considering labiaplasty because it is swimsuit season.
“Summer is here,” points out Dr. Scheinberg, a vagina cosmetic surgery provider. “It gets women thinking about how they look in a bikini.”
However, many women suffer from enlarged labia which can bulge, sag or pinch inside a bathing suit. As any woman can tell you, bathing suits are notorious for revealing every detail of one’s anatomy. Read the rest of this entry »
Deerfield Beach, FL – Almost all women will experience some kind of damage to or deterioration in their vagina, and this often results in self-consciousness or loss of self-esteem.
However, notes Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a Florida expert doing vaginal reconstruction and labiaplasty, surgical techniques can enhance the functioning and sensitivity of the vagina – and improve women’s quality of life.
Many women experience a sensation of looseness in the vaginal area and a loss of sensation during intercourse as they age, or after childbirth. It may be that the sensitivity isn’t what it used to be or that the muscles don’t function as well. Some women have pain during sex or experience stress urinary incontinence. Cosmetic gynecology is a burgeoning field with a growing number of practitioners and patients all over the U.S. However, some doctors expressed concern about the field in a recent issue of OB.Gyn News. Many worried that such procedures aren’t medically indicated, while others were concerned about negatively affecting a woman’s self-image by suggesting that her private parts might be unattractive.
However, Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a South Florida cosmetic gynecologist from the Center for Cosmetic Laser Gynecology, disagrees. “I have seen hundreds of patients in my practice,” says Dr. Scheinberg. “Many of them have functional concerns, such as pain, difficulty with urine retention, or diminished sexual satisfaction. Aging, childbirth, and other causes can result in some distressing changes in the vulva area. After surgery, they are very happy and feel better about themselves.” Read the rest of this entry »
