Through Thick And Thin

Article No Comments »

MIAMI, PALM BEACH AND DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – Women in Miami looking to get cosmetic-plastic surgery on their vagina may wonder about some of the medical terms.
The surgical correction and enhancement of the genital structure is called a labioplasty. However, there are different forms of labiaplasty. For instance, two techniques for labiaplasty are called thin labia, or labia minoraplasty, and thick labia, or labia majoraplasty. So what is the difference?

“The thin labia are the inner, external female genitalia that are hairless,” says Palm Beach vaginal rejuvenation specialist Dr. Mark Scheinberg, “It is also known as the labia minora.”
The proper aesthetic way to perform the thin labia operation is to reduce the size, preserve the edges, reshape the contours, create symmetry and a uniform color, and create a youthful appearance. This procedure has given many women embarrassed by their labial appearance, a new self-confidence.

What Is A Wide Vagina?

Article No Comments »

FORT LAUDERDALE AND DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA – The sensation of vaginal looseness, or a “wide vagina,” can be the result of the aging process, too much stretching, and cutting of the vaginal wall, or supporting tissues during childbirth.

Typically, women describe the sensation of a wide vagina as an empty feeling during sexual intercourse. This sensation can be caused by non-existent or diminished vaginal ridges or rugae, the vaginal walls having bulging or stretching from the tears, and stretching of the orifice or entrance to the vagina.

During childbearing, for instance, the vaginal walls stretch to accommodate the growing child inside. Once the labor process begins, the vagina stretches to a width of 10 centimeters, or four inches.
As the child moves through the birth canal, ripping can and usually does occur. In some cases, the doctor may cut the perineum to get the child out quicker. It is not uncommon for a woman to suffer from vaginal looseness as a result.

“A tighter vaginal sensation can be accomplished,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg, a Florida labioplasty expert. “This can be done by reconstructing all the defects and rebuilding the ridges.”
Vaginal rugae restoration and other repair techniques such as site-specific defect reconstruction can fix your vagina by correcting the damage and recreating the vaginal ridges. The natural shape and tightness can be restored.

Perineoplasty Procedure Offered at the Center for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Gynecology

DEERFIELD BEACH, PALM BEACH, FORT LAUDERDALE AND MIAMI, FLORIDA – The perineum is the spot between your vagina and rectum. This area can be stretched, cut or torn during your lifetime.

A perineoplasty, or perineorrhaphy, involves repairing the individual muscles that were torn by finding the tough connective tissue surrounding the muscle and sewing them back together individually so the muscle stays together.

They have to be done individually or pain and recurrent separation can recur. This only repairs the outside.
“The tough connective tissues have to be put back in the same direction they were torn, usually ten or more different tears are present,” says Dr. Mark Scheinberg a Palm Beach vaginal rejuvenation expert. “By doing this the muscle will be repositioned and tightened without having to put sutures through the actual muscle, which causes much less pain and gives lasting results.”
